I read through dozens of canned dog food options on Amazon and settled on Beyond by Purina. Meat is the first ingredient in both recipes included in this 12 can package of Beyond by Purina. For the Chicken, Carrot & Pea Recipe, there are 5 ingredients (less added vitamins and minerals). The other 2 ingredients not mentioned in the title are chicken broth and liver. This ground dog food is not a wet slurry, it is rather dense, and looks and smells fresh.Same can be said for the Beef, Potato & Green Beans Recipe. There are slightly more ingredients in this recipe (8 ingredients in all) but all ingredients are pronounceable. This too is ground dog food that looks and smells fresh.I buy canned ground dog food as a topper for my dog's kibble. Wet food because it increases her interest in eating and finishing her breakfast and dinner. The 12 can package of Beyond dog food also includes 6 cans of each recipe mentioned above. This enables me to provide some variety in flavors to my dog.
