I got this to replace a 3B+ that was doing just fine except for YouTube and Facebook. Both of those sites are memory hogs, and the 3B+ just couldn't handle more than 1 tab of those at a time. (1 of each was about as iffy as 2 of either one) Text-and-image sites were perfectly fine - countless tabs of those were not a problem at all - only video didn't work so well.I got the 8GB memory option as a bit of "future-proofing", and with several YT tabs open, it still barely registers on the RAM usage. It's rock-solid now.And the SD card could just move over from the 3B+ where I set everything up, to the 4, and it ran perfectly. Everything was still installed and set up the way I had it, and it all "just worked".(actually, I cloned the card and put the *clone* in the 4, just in case it did mess things up so I could go back to the 3B+ like nothing ever happened, but that wasn't necessary)
